The art of a farmers' market since 2010
Riverwalk Market Fair is a Saturday market located in historic downtown Northfield, Minnesota. The market offers locally grown produce, artisan foods, and a juried selection of art work. Each Saturday provides a different mix of special events, musical entertainment, and activities for the whole family.

History
Founded in 2010 by local artists and entrepreneurs with the help of the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation, this one-of-a-kind Saturday market showcases produce from local farmers, artisan foods, and a variety of fine art and craft by Northfield area artists. Originally started as a venue for local entrepreneurs to market their products, the Riverwalk Market Fair has become a valued community asset where local residents gather as well as a popular destination for visitors from the Twin Cities and beyond.
A beloved annual keepsake
Our annual poster design tradition is one of the most heartwarming ways we connect with our incredible local talent. Each year, we eagerly invite our neighbors—the talented artists of our community—to share their vision for the Riverwalk Market Fair. The design chosen by our Board of Directors becomes so much more than a poster; it’s a celebration of RMF spirit and a beloved keepsake, immortalized on beautiful prints and our reusable bags. Every sale of these special items directly nurtures and supports the vibrancy of the Riverwalk Market Fair, weaving our local artists directly into the fabric of our success!
