Whether you are a long-time Northfield resident or a visitor traveling from afar, the Riverwalk Market Fair welcomes you to experience the very best of our community. Our open-air summer market is a vibrant celebration of local talent and flavor. As you stroll along the river, you'll discover a curated selection of fine art, artisan food, and fresh food straight from our local farmers. The atmosphere is brough to life by the sounds of talented local musicians, making every Saturday morning a true destination.
The summer market is held in Northfield at Bridge Square every Saturday from May 16-October 31 from 9am-1pm, rain or shine. It will not be held on September 12 during the Defeat of Jesse James Days.
Special Markets
While we think every Saturday at Riverwalk Market Fair is pretty special, there are a few that offer a little something extra:

May 23: A few vintage fire engines from the Minnesota Fire Engine Club will be at the market. Then, join them at 5pm for Pumpers in the Park at Bridge Square!

June 6: Stop by the Friends of Nerstrand Big Woods State Park booths to learn about the dwarf trout lily and the Red-Headed Woodpecker.

June 13: Library story time at 10:45am and T-Fiber will be handing out free ice cream!

June 20: Senior Saturday in partnership with FiftyNorth for their 50th anniversary. Every senior gets a $5 token to spend on produce!

July 4: Ice cream for breakfast with KYMN!

July 11: Northfield Jazz Festival will be happening around town. We will have special jazz performers at Riverwalk on July 4 and July 11.

July 18: Enjoy short performances by Cannon Valley Youth Orchestra soloists and ensembles every hour from 9am to noon.

August 1: We will be set up along the bridge and we'll be sharing Bridge Square with the Vintage Band Festival

August 15: New Vendor Ribbon Cutting! Seventeen new vendors will be at the market. Join us and the Northfield Chamber of Commerce to celebrate!

October 10: Fall Celebration to thank our vendors. Every vendor gets a free stall this Saturday.

The Governor's Pheasant Hunting Opener will be in Northfield.

Fresh. Local. Seasonal. From the first stalks of spring asparagus in May to the giant pumpkins of October, our farmers bring the very best of the Cannon River Valley to Bridge Square every Saturday morning. Taste the difference that 'picked this morning' makes!
The Great Radish Scavenger Hunt
Attention kids!
Every Saturday morning, we hide a special stuffed radish (take a look at the picture to the left so you know what to search for) somewhere at the market. If you are the first person to find the radish, you'll win a $10 gift card to spend with any vendor. Arrive early and good luck!
