Become a Board Member
The Riverwalk Market Fair Board of Directors is a working board that supports the running of the markets.
Time Commitment
Board members are expected to attend:

a monthly two hour full board meeting,
-
commit to 1-3 hours of additional committee work,

and volunteer at the market and special events.

As a working board, members have an @riverwalkmarketfair.org email address where they communicate regularly and vote on jurying new vendor applicants which adds up to an additional 2+ hours of board work each month.
If you have time to volunteer and are enthusiastic about local artists, farmers, the environment, food access, entrepreneurship, music, fundraising, volunteer recruitment, or small business, you may be a good fit for our team! Please fill out the form through the link below and we will let you know if a spot opens up on the Board of Directors.
Depending on the number of applications received, we may request to do a short interview of potential board members.
Building a Business
As a market, we would like to support the Northfield community by giving special consideration to businesses interested in opening a storefront, brick and mortar business in town in the future. We will help these businesses in ways like connecting them with the EDA or other organizations who can help and by giving them a low risk place to try out their business model on a small scale.
